The history of the department

The Department of Public Administration, Finance and Marketing of the Faculty of Economics and Law was established in May 2019 by combining the departments of Public Administration and Marketing and Finance and Accounting.

The history of this department originates from the history of many departments. One of the first founded was the Department of Economic Theory, which began its work in 1966. In 1973, the department was reorganized and received the name “The CPSU and the History of Political Economy”, it was headed at the very beginning by Ph.D. Volodina N.T. and followed by Ph.D. Ermolin A.P., as well as Shcherbakov V.S. In 1982, from this structural unit, the Department of Political Economy was formed, headed by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor E.K. Bekkaliev. The first structure of the department included: Ph.D., associate professors Komyagin BI, Bayzhomartov US, Kryuchko NS, Zhunusov BA; teachers Niyazov R.K., Stanevich S.L., Utegenov B.I., Mambetov U.E., Knyazova G. Zh.

From May 1992 to December 1995, in connection with the transition of our country to market relations, the creation of the Faculty of Economics, the growth of the contingent of students of economic specialties, the department changed its name to a more relevant one: “Economics and Management”, it was headed by Ph.D. Yuvitsa N.V.

In 1996, in January, the Department of General and Market Economy was headed by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Bayzhomartov US. From January 24 of 1997 in connection with the growth of students, the department received a new name “foundations of economic theory”, the post of head was received by associate professor Mambetov U.Е.

In 2004, starting from September, the department was headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor T.K. Karamurziev, 2005, from February 15, the leadership of the Department of “Economic Theory” passed to Ph.D., Professor Zhunusov BA.

Starting from this period, the teaching staff of the department began to form from the best graduates of the faculty.

In 2009, the department was renamed and received the name “Economic Theory and Public Administration”.

In 2010-2011. the department “Public administration and marketing” was created, which was headed by doctor phD Saimova M.D.

The Department of Finance and Banking was established in September 2000. The first head of the department is Doctor of Economics, Professor Tekey Karamurzaұly Karamurziev. 12 entrepreneurs worked at this department, it should be noted the role and contribution to the material and educational-methodological base of the department of the following workers: A.M. Kalieva, G.R. Sakenova, G.M. Musirov, M. Kereev, D.M. Nurmukhanova. Ismagulova B.M.

The teaching staff of the department was replenished in 2009 with such specialists in economic sectors as L.I.Kusainova, R.G. Satkanova. and Turdaliev N.U., as well as young specialists: Zhugunisova Zh.V., Kenzhebaev G.D., Azhaipov I.Sh., Aldashova G.M., Bukharbaeva D.M.

2001-2008 The department was headed by Ph.D. Mendalieva S.I., and in 2009 the leadership was transferred to Ph.D. Taskarina B.M., and the faculty was replenished with such candidates of economic sciences as G.I. Akhmetova. and Makasheva Zh.Zh.

In 2015, there was a merger with the Department of Accounting and Auditing and the Department of Finance and Accounting was created.

At the moment, the existing Department of Public Administration, Finance and Marketing, starting from December 13, 2019, is headed by Ph.D. Akhmetova G.I.

As part of the department, many teachers continue their work who have contributed to economic science, these are: Doctor of Economics, Professor. Kusainov Kh.Kh., Ph.D., Professor Zhunusov B.A., teacher Mambetov U.E., Ph.D., Associate Professor Taskarina B.M., Ph.D., Associate Professor Turganbaev M.A., Ph.D. Nurmanov A.O., Ph.D. G.K. Demeuova and many others.
