Educational and scientific activities of the department

The teaching and methodological activity of the department is carried out in accordance with the teaching and pedagogical load. Teaching staff of the department constantly develops the methodological materials necessary in the educational process. These are syllabuses, educational and methodical complexes, educational programs, brief synopses of lectures. The relationship with the basic financial organizations and institutions of the city has been established, the production practice has been organized, bilateral agreements have been concluded with various financial organizations and institutions.

Ways to improve the existing base of innovative methods and means of education are considered at the meetings of the department and EMC. The experience of introducing the most relevant and effective methods becomes an object of exchange between teachers through demonstration and open classes and is recorded in the journals of mutual visits of teachers and is reflected in the plans of the EMW. In particular, teachers conduct binary lectures involving employees of financial institutions.

One of the main directions in the work of the department is the introduction of creative technology into the learning process. The creative technology of education, aimed at awakening the creator in a person and developing the inherent creative potential in him, bring up the courage of thought, confidence in one’s creative abilities, the ability to generate new non-standard ideas that have universal value.

The faculty of the department performs the following measures to introduce innovative teaching technologies into the educational process:

  1. the teachers of the department use the following modern types of lectures, such as lectures together, multimedia lecture, lectures with pre-planned mistakes, lecture-discussion, problem lecture, in order to increase students’ motivation, develop creative thinking of students, improve methodological skills in the study of disciplines;
  2. the faculty uses different approaches, methods, techniques, techniques and types of practical exercises: creative tasks, work in small groups, training in cooperation, project method, decision tree, role and business games, case-method, situational analysis, discussions.

The introduction of modern pedagogical technologies and new methods of teaching in the educational process uses an interactive whiteboard and handouts. Classes are held according to the schedule and schedule of classes. Using the interactive whiteboard allows more accessible and visually to bring the students learning material, which increases the level of perception and shows the activity of students in conducting classes.

New forms of lectures and seminars are being introduced: lectures and discussions, round tables, press conferences, conducting empirical studies. Widely used are creative technologies such as business and role games, case studies, brainstorming, the method of control questions (search for solutions by trial and error), debates, debates, presentations. Presentation of the lecture material is carried out by the majority of teachers in the form of slides, is provided with handouts, which significantly activates the work of students in the classroom, allowing them to clearly focus on the most problematic points studied topics.

Round tables and meetings with famous people of our city are held at the department, for example, the director of the National Bank in the Aktobe region Asimbetova P.Sh. and other representatives of the banking sector were invited to celebrate the Day of Financiers.

In the current academic year, work has been intensified to create electronic versions of educational and methodological developments for students in distance learning.

More than 20 contracts have been concluded for the students’ practical training: the Tax Control Department of the State MF RK Committee for the Aktyubinsk region, the AF JSC Kaspi Bank, the AF SB JSC Sberbank, AF JSC ATF Bank, AF JSC Forte Bank, AF JSC “Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan”, AF IK “Freedom Finance”, etc.

All of the above confirms that the department “Finance and Accounting” actively participates in the innovative and industrial development of our country, for this purpose it has a qualified faculty and modern equipment for solving these problems. The faculty has a wide experience in training personnel for the economy.

Scientific work of the department is carried out in the following areas:

  • problems of industrial and innovative development of single-industry towns of the region;
  • creation of a center for rendering free marketing services to small business entities.

The department also carries out research work on orders of regional authorities and on a grant basis.

As part of the academic mobility program, Professor B.A. Zhunusov completed a scientific internship at the Shanghai University of Economics and Finance.

According to the program of academic mobility of students in 2018 – 2019, students of the department Karakulova J., Baisary A., Sansyzbaeva A., Tlegenova L., Zhekeshev A. study in Almaty Technical University.

The research work of students, being an obligatory, integral part of the training of qualified specialists at the university, becomes an inseparable part of a single process: educational and scientific and innovative. Participation in scientific work enables every able student to determine his future plans, acquire the necessary research skills and speak with the results of his research at conferences, seminars, participate in debates. Student teams under the guidance of teachers of the department over the past three years became prizewinners of republican subject оlympiads, competitions and international conferences held by leading universities of Kazakhstan.

At the department, work is actively carried out, which is aimed at self-realization of students’ personality. Students of the department take an active part in various olympiads, republican conferences, competitions and show high results.

The Department launched a new project on practical cooperation of educational institutions that train specialists in the field of state and local government and public bodies. School “MANSAP”, organized by the Department “Public administration and marketing” K. Zhubanov ARSU  and in conjunction with the Department of the Ministry for civil service Affairs of Kazakhstan in Aktobe region. At the opening of the student school in March 2016 was attended by the Chairman of the steering Committee of the regional hub in the sphere of civil service Alikhan Baimenov and permanent representative of the United Nations development programme Norimasa, Shimamura.  The purpose of opening the school “Mansap” is to give its graduates practical skills in the public service that will be able to apply in their future professional activities.

The faculty of the department has a high rating on publications in scientific journals, publications on international and national scientific conferences, textbooks and textbooks.

As a result of the long-term work of the faculty, more than 30 textbooks and teaching aids have been published and published in all universities of the country. Among them are textbooks: “Basics of a Market Economy”, “Theoretical Economics”, “General Economic Theory”, “History of Economic Thought Studies”, “General Economic Theory”, “Macroeconomics” and others.

The Department” Public administration,Finance and marketing ” trains specialists in Finance, Accounting and audit, State and local management, marketing. The total number of employees of the Department is 31 people, including 1 doctor of economic Sciences, 1 teacher at the level of doctor of economic Sciences, 1 candidate of economic Sciences, 11 teachers, a senior teacher with a master’s degree -18.
